12 Angry Men Movie Analysis Essay Example 12 Angry Men Movie Analysis Paper 12 Angry Men Movie Analysis Paper Article Topic: 12 Angry Men Course: HRMG6200 Organization in New Economy Assignment: Twelve Angry Men Movie The film Twelve Angry Men is about the twelve legal hearers that could alter their impact in a dynamic procedure for conviction an eighteen years of age kid, regardless of whether the kid liable or not blameworthy in killing of his dad. It speaks to an ideal model for appropriate of a work bunch advancement system. It additionally has instances of impact strategies among a group’s individuals. This paper is taking a gander at those particular models in the film and centering in investigation the reasons why Juror 8 is quite a lot more viable than others in the gathering. As indicated by Bruce Tuckman, solid work bunches need to experience four phases of improvement: Forming, Storming, Norming, and Performing. Framing characterize as individuals acclimate and composed to choose a pioneer, a given model for the shaping stage in this film is the twelve men were up for the principal vote, occupied with social arranged conduct to get familiar with each other. The lead member of the jury acquainted with everybody â€Å"why are we here. † Storming are power battles and sub-gathering, given model here is one legal hearer casted a ballot â€Å"not guilty† while other eleven attendants casted a ballot â€Å"guilty†. It shaped an ideal clash that drove bunch individuals gadget by two sub-gathering, vote liable gathering and vote not liable gathering, seat back for delving profound into the gave confirmations to ensure in the event that they are deserving of pronouncing the kid liable of the charge. Norming characterize as gathering picks rules to organize association and encourage objectives, given model here is the point at which the twelve men dismissed the preference of a drained democratic, six â€Å"guilty† versus six â€Å"not blameworthy. † Another genuine model for Norming is when â€Å"We nine need to comprehend why you three despite everything think he is blameworthy. † Performing characterize as the gathering structure empowers cooperating easily toward one objective. It is the point at which they all concurred on just a single regular right answer â€Å"the kid isn't guilty†. The twelve legal hearers were experiencing the four principle phases of building up a sound work bunch in the gathering even it appears to be entangled and required high-force endeavors from specific individuals. Agreeing the five Methods for Influencing Other Group Members utilization of reason, emphaticness, alliance building, higher qualities, and dealing when Juror Eight stated: â€Å"we are discussing someone life here, we can’t simply choose inside five minutes, assume we are wrong†, he utilized the young individual life’s mportant and the threat of a bogus choice as valid justifications to constrain different attendants in breaking down the realities cautiously. He at that point discusses the boy’s foundations for speaking to rationale and judicious considering different members of the jury. Hearer Three was clear partiality, threatening vibe, and utilized â€Å"assertiveness† to impact the other ten members of the jury of jury gave an oppone nt to legal hearer Eight. Attendant eight utilized â€Å"coalition building† technique to look for arrangement with other gathering individuals. He never says that he accepts the respondent is honest however his mantra all through the film was â€Å"it’s conceivable! alluding to the sensible uncertainty, which he persuaded others’ thought. Hearer Eight kept on engaging other eleven juror’s higher qualities by over and again strengthening their good and legal commitment to convict just if there was no sensible uncertainty. He provoked every legal hearer to take a gander at the realities all the more mindfully. â€Å"Bargaining† is offering an instrument trade. Member of the jury 8 utilized this strategy when he stated: â€Å"I need to require another vote†¦ If there are 11 decisions in favor of liable, I won’t stand alone†¦ But on the off chance that anybody votes not blameworthy, we remain here and work it out. Twelve Angry Men c onsolidates the five strategies for impacting bunch individuals. As indicated by a leader’s system for dynamic procedure in an examination research at Harvard Business School in 2007, the structure incorporates finding context’s attributes, reality based administration, doing the leader’s work, finding threat signals, and reacting to those risk signals. The situation of the dynamic procedure in this film is a confused setting, where circumstances and logical results connections are discoverable yet not quickly evident to everybody. There were potential outcomes of bogus declaration. Hearer 8 was a great deal more viable than other in light of the fact that he knew about the duties of a member of the jury and how significant his choice on the eighteen years of age boy’s life is. The choice could send the kid to the hot seat for completing his life. Toward the start, he didn't know that the kid was blameworthy but rather he was certain that the confirmations gave are not solid and adequate enough to evidence the kid liable of charge. He found the peril of a likelihood that the gave proofs are not compelling and need confirmed before any choice, the threat of different legal hearers could pompous in their own answer or in the viability of past arrangements. He attempted to bring different members of the jury into investigation the proof in fact and ensuring on the off chance that they are deserving of pronouncing the kid blameworthy of the charge. He knows the obscure variables, break down realities, and set objective for his choice. He masterminded a comparable blade and carried conceptualizing with the confirmations. He utilized investigations to compel different individuals to think outside the recognizable. He centered to his target and duty. He anticipated himself fair and he was not working in personal circumstance. He utilized coherent thinking, authority abilities, and powerful interchanges for impact others’ choice effectively. Taking everything into account, close to of learning the relevant of a leader’s system for dynamic procedure and strategies for impacting other gathering individuals, the film Twelve Angry Men additionally demonstrated its crowds considers that help shaping a beneficial work gathering. A gainful work gathering ought to have essential factors, for example, A decent variety bunch individuals from distinction foundations and religions; An ideal clash like democratic â€Å"guilty† as opposed to casting a ballot â€Å"not guilty† to helps in drawing member’s consideration into group’s obligations; A domain where bunch individuals are transparent as the painter helped in ensuring the old man’s discourse, where individuals can scrutinize the procedure and the substance as the watchmaker asked the baseball fan to give the correct motivation behind why he changed his vote however not simply transformed it since he drained and needed to switch for accelerating the procedure of this dynamic, where individuals perceive the job that inclination plays in dynamic and void one-sided choices, where individuals concur and differ in the correct manner without powers as individuals changed their votes when they see any feeling of bogus declarations, where individuals understand that it is feasible for one individual is correct and all others are incorrect as the elderly person helped legal hearer 8 by changing his vote to keep the gathering meeting going, and that bunch individuals consistently can gain from one another. Different Names for the Compound Ketobemidone is a compound with various names. The compound is likewise utilizing other various equivalents, for example, 1-[4-(3-Hydroxyphenyl)- 1-methylpiperidin-4-yl]-1-propanone; Cetobemidone; Ethyl 4-(3-hydroxyphenyl)- 1-methylpiperidin-4-yl ketone; Cliradon; Cliradone; Cetobemidon; Cymidon; Hoechst 10720; Ciba 7115; Ketobemidonum; 1-[4-(m-Hydroxyphenyl)- 1-methyl-4-piperidyl]-1-propanone; 1-Propanone, 1-[4-(3-hydroxyphenyl)- 1-methyl-4-piperidinyl]-;1-Propanone, 1-[4-(m-hydroxyphenyl)- 1-methyl-4-piperidyl]-; NSC 117863; or A 21 Lundbeck1. The Chemical Structure of Ketobemidone The substance structure of the compound is: How Ketobemidone Was Discovered and Synthesized â€Å"The history of engineered drugs with morphine-like impact is generally short, going back just to 1939, w hen Eisleb delivered the now well known 1-methyl-4-phenylpiperidine-4-carboxylic corrosive ethyl ester.†2 Eisleb along with his partners initially blended Ketobemidone in 1942 at I.G. Farbenindustrie’s research center at Hoechst in the midst of World War II. In any case, for a long time, look into had been on-going to discover manufactured substances with a similar structure as morphine. Little, Eddy along with their colleagues at the United States Public Health service3 worked enthusiastically to locate these manufactured substances with morphine-like structure. The examinations were established on the speculation that morphine’s pain relieving impact was natural in dibenzofuran, phenanthrene, dibenzofuran just as carbazole core, which were distinguished as segments of morphine. Prior endeavors were anyway vain with no improvement of any engineered compound with alluring pain relieving impact. Natural science analyzes once in a while yield expected outcomes and items acquired generally stop by some coincidence. The pain relieving action of 4-phenylpiperidines was found by chance in 1940s over the span of research by researchers to discover antispasmodic attributes on analogs of cocaine.4 The primary focal point of Eisleb and Schaumann was to locate an elective compound for atropine. The analysts found that the mixes had elevated levels of pain relieving properties separated from their spasmolytic properties. Carboxylic corrosive displayed the best results and was later sold in Germany as dolantin, which was wrongly thought to be non-addictive. As research heightened, a few different mixes with structures like morphine were created including methadone, which was found in Germany during the Second World War.5 The underlying investigation of ketobemidone opened up in print in 1946 after which it took brief length before being presented in clinical medication. In 1954, the Economic and Social Council asked governments to quit delivering and ex changing on ketobemidone contending that it is a risky drug.6 Ketobemidone is orchestrated by alkylation of (3-methoxyphenyl) acetonitrile with bis (2-chloroethyl) methylamine, which is then responded with ethylmagnesiumbromide. The subsequent item is then O-demethylated with hydrobromic corrosive to shape ketobemidone. â€Å"1-Methyl-4-(m-methoxy)phenyl-4-cyanopiperidine on response with ethyl magnesium bromide structures ketone moderate, which on demethylation with hydrobromic corrosive bears ketobemidone.†7 Physical and Chemical Characteristics of Ketobemidone Physical Properties

It may be characterized as a form of specific phobia. Specific phobias such as gynophobia involve a fear that is centered on a specific trigger object or situation, which in this case is women. The fear that people experience is far out of proportion to the actual danger that they face, and people with this phobia recognize that their anxiety is excessive. Understanding that the fear is irrational, however, does not prevent people from feeling highly anxious and even panicked. Gynophobia should not, however, be confused with misogyny or male chauvinism. Where gynophobia involves a fear response, misogyny and chauvinism involve prejudice, hatred, objectification, and contempt against women. Gynophobia is not recognized as a disorder by the DSM-5, but it could potentially fall under the diagnostic criteria for specific phobias.   What Is the DSM-5? Causes, Triggers, Risk Factors Like other specific phobias, both genetic and environmental factors may play a contributing role in the development of gynophobia. The exact causes of such phobias are not well-understood, although some research indicates that inherited factors may play at least some part. Studies have found that twins raised apart have a higher than average rate of phobias. People are also more likely to develop a phobia if they have close relatives with phobias. While genetic and family factors present an increased risk, gynophobia is also likely heavily influenced by environment and experience. Negative or traumatic experiences involving women often play the largest role in the onset of this phobia. Mental, physical, or sexual abuse involving women, for example, might lead to feelings of fear or anxiety about being around women. Other risk factors include: Age: children tend to be more susceptible to the development of phobias in generalHaving another anxiety disorder or phobiaA more negative or sensitive personality Signs Symptoms Some of the symptoms a person with gynophobia might experience include: A persistent, excessive, and overwhelming fear of being around or thinking about womenAvoidance of women or social situations where women may be presentPhysical symptoms such as sweating, rapid heart rate, difficulty breathing, shaking, nausea, or trembling in response to womenDifficulty with daily living or normal functioning as a result of this fear of women Diagnosis Because this fear is not a recognized mental disorder, a psychologist or doctor will not formally diagnose an individual as having gynophobia. Instead, the individual’s symptoms will be assessed and they may be diagnosed as having another type of disorder such as a specific phobia or social anxiety. Self-tests for gynophobia typically involve a self-check for symptoms of the phobia. If you feel that these symptoms are interfering with your life, relationships, and normal functioning, you should consider seeing a doctor or mental health professional to discuss your treatment options. What Is a Specific Phobia? Treatment There is no treatment protocol specifically indicated for the treatment of gynophobia, so your doctor will make recommendations based upon your symptoms and diagnosis. For specific phobias, behavioral treatments are usually the recommended approach. This may include the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy, which addresses the underlying thought patterns that contribute to phobic responses. Exposure therapy is one of the most effective treatments for specific phobias. In this case, efforts might be made to help the sufferer understand some of the underlying dynamics leading to the fear of women. A person with gynophobia would be gradually exposed more and more to women until the feelings of fear are reduced or eliminated. The process would typically start by looking at images of women while practicing relaxation techniques to help ease anxiety symptoms. The process would continue step-by-step, progressing to watching videos of women and finally going places where women are present. Complications One of the most pressing complications associated with gynophobia is the possibility that symptoms may become so severe that they result in a panic attack. Such attacks frequently involve extreme feelings of fear accompanied by a racing heartbeat, difficulty breathing, sweating, chills, feeling out of control, chest pain, and even the feeling that death is imminent. Symptoms of gynophobia can also lead to social isolation and serve as a barrier to treatment. People will not only avoid social situations where women might be present, but they may also avoid seeking medical treatment for the same reasons. Prognosis Prevention There is no data specifically related to treatment effectiveness for gynophobia, but the long-term prognosis may be similar to that of other phobias. Research has shown that exposure-based treatments can be particularly effective in the treatment of specific phobias such as gynophobia. All forms of this treatment are better than no treatment, but in vivo (or real-life) exposure has been found to be more effective than imagined exposures in most cases. While it is difficult to control the personal experiences that might contribute to such phobias, treatment after trauma may help with the prevention of gynophobia. Children who have been involved in difficult experiences should receive appropriate care and counseling afterward to ensure that lingering fears do not escalate into a phobia. Parents can also help model appropriate behaviors and responses to fearful situations by dealing with anxieties in a healthy and reasonable way. Doing so can help ensure that phobias such as gynophobia do not develop as a result of observational learning. Coping Tips Gynophobia can be particularly disruptive to a person’s life because it often leads to avoidance behaviors and social isolation. If you suspect that you might have this fear of women, there are things that you can do to cope and find relief. Practice relaxation techniques. Strategies such as deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation can help calm your fear symptoms. The more you practice these techniques, the easier it will be to stay calm when you are in a fear-inducing situation.Ask for help. The sooner you seek treatment from a medical or mental health professional, the less likely you are to suffer from negative impacts on different areas of your life. Your doctor can recommend further treatment that might include psychotherapy, exposure-based therapy, or even medication to control symptoms of severe anxiety. Most importantly, remember that recovering from gynophobia is a process that will take time. Having a support system, seeking appropriate treatment, and being patient with yourself can ensure that you are taking steps toward overcoming your fear. Talk to your doctor about your options or use the psychologist locator offered by the American Psychological Association to find mental health services in your area. Treatment Options for Phobias
